I'll take it over if required. I'm a web developer so i know my way
around, hell i can even donate some time to enhance the site if the
project needs something.

Let me know.

Thanks

Thanks KaperVld for the hosting the past year! I hope that the forum
continues, it's a great place for the community.

Tam, if you need some help in managing the forum, I would like to be
an moderator. I have some ideas for it.
Cheers,

An idea that has surfaced a few times is the desire for a wiki. If one of you are interested in starting that kind of thing it would be much appreciated. :-) I know there are some people who would love to structure it and add information. The thing needed is someone who sets it up, preferably as a subdomain at www.corsix-th.com (or even corsixth.com?)

At least we certainly want the forum to stat online! :-D

If no one has any objections, i'll just setup hosting from now on for the site.

Kasper, can you send me the details and i'll get everything
transferred over to my server.

After that i can see about getting a wiki setup, if theres demand.

Nice. :-)

It would be great if you could also change the forum logo in the top left to
be like the wide one in this thread:
http://forums.corsix-th.com/index.php/topic,2579.0.html
How much would it cost to also have the domain corsixth.com?

Right, just tell me what you need... If you could set up an account at
dynadot.com for me to transfer the domain to that'd be great. I can get
a full backup of the forums / databases too.. just send me a message

Because of this news I started thinking about a website for CorsixTH
and couldn't resist to make a concept. I'm not an web developer so I
can't code it but if someone else is willing to we can work something
out. (I know some CSS and how to properly slice my concept to make an
actual webpage)

Here it is:

Are there any updates on the migration of the forum?
Thanks

Are there any updates? Or is the migration already completed?
It's quite urgent now since the hosting ends tomorrow.

@KasperVld, do you have a backup?

cheers

The domain name, files, and database contents have all now been
transfered to one of my VPSes. Once the updated DNS values have
propagated, everything _should_ work fine. Until then, you'll see the
forum in maintenance mode.

Does this now mean that the forum is saved from total annihilation,
and that it will live on indefinitely on your server?

Yes, it should be able to reside safely there indefinitely, unless a
better home comes along.
