Tinn-R problem -- technical help needed@@

Hi all,

Today i tried to use my Tinn-R but kept running into an error message
saying "Serious problem reading ini files! Tinn-R can not be
initiated". I couldnt recollect any system set-up changes in the past
few days.

I've tried re-installing the program (remove it first of course) but
still the same error came out.
My system is WinXP, Tinn-R 1.19.4.7, R2.6.1

Has anyone run into such problem before???

Thanks for any help of getting me out of such computer chaos.....

Have you checked that the uninstallation also removed the files in
C:/Documents and Settings/YOURUSERNAME/Application Data? Sometimes
Windows uninstallers leave stuff in there and then your reinstall may
have failed because of files that remained there? Just a guess, I
haven't had the problem myself.
