I was just wondering if you'd be able to tell us what features we could expect in the future? One thing I'd like to see is resizable windows. Thanks.

We're working on finalizing some roadmap decisions and once it is
ready will be posted to the wiki on github.

really need to get the switching between between app sorted out. multi-tasking without the ability to switch between those tasks doesn't really offer much over having a widget on screen...

will it be making a return?

thanks

It is not planned to be reintroduced as of now. You can read the
reasons why it was removed in the thread at:

Read the (very long) thread even before posting, and fully appreciate the concerns of forking the code etc, but the point is, the ability to have your mail or another app on your home screen is acomplished by having a widget there. For true multi tasking , you need to be able to switch apps or at the very least resize the window of the app you want to work with before it becomes useful.

I actually think this (cornerstone ) could be really good, and be a massive step forward for android as a whole, but as it stands, its functionality is pretty limited. ....

Thanks

IMHO:  Just because the ability to switch is not included does not mean that it may not make its way back at a late time in the form of a setting that can be enabled.  Having it off by default may be a way to keep under the Google radar and appease the end user as well.

Regarding the limited functionality, android as it stands has a problem with keeping track of data in apps when they are not in the forground.  Before Cornerstone I have found myself working in an Office suite, switching to an internet browser, then switching back only to find that the last few sentences or even the entire document have been flushed from Androids memory never to be found again.

Thanks to cornerstone working between complementary apps can be done side by side instead of one on top of the other.
