John and I have been working in Lodi today. Road is still in bad shape (unplowed) , and we're reluctant to make the >50-mile round trip, especially if the snow also discourages others from attending the CFSS meeting.

The two most pressing tasks for this week can be dealt with by e-mail:
1. Booking the fourth concert: Megafaun?
2. Reserving McGraw, Hollis Cornell, or James Law

Since we don't yet have confirmation of the fourth show or the venues, I don't think I can have the season postcards ready by Saturday for a mailing party.

I suggest we postpone the CFSS meeting until next week, and do the postcard processing then. I'll have Jean Redpath's contract by then, and we can make sure we're comfortable with any details. And we can resume the quest for a faculty advisor.

How does everyone feel about this? I hate for us to cancel yet another meeting, but the weather is prohibitive and we can deal with current business on the listserve.

At 6:00 p.m. the meeting is still on. I am in my office and just talked to Reed, who is on his way here from Collegetown. So don't hold back if you think we are not meeting. Bill and Reed will both be here. We can get necessary work done. Don't know who else.
