Hey Corktowners,

A few more updates to corktown.ca -- consider it all news you can use.

First, local resident Erin Balser -- who, full disclosure, lives in the same house that I do -- has organized a Corktown Spectation Station for the coming Goodlife Toronto Marathon on Sunday, May 5. Join us to cheer on all the runners as they make their way across King Street East. Details here: http://corktown.ca/2013/04/corktown-spectation-station-for-the-goodlife-toronto-marathon/

Up next: Planner Angela Stea has directed us to some information about amendments to the plan for the coming phases of Regent Park revitalization. Take a look and remember that TCHC is holding a community meeting for Corktown residents to discuss these amendments on Monday, April 29. http://corktown.ca/2013/04/regent-park-planning-information/

Lastly but certainly not leastly, you've only got a few days left to enter the current Café Haiku contest, in which you could be the winner of a gift certificate to a very fine local dining establishment. Don't miss this opportunity. http://corktown.ca/2013/04/last-call-for-entries-in-the-cafe-haiku-contest/

And remember to check our yesterday's news & events post for more great things to do in and around Corktown: http://corktown.ca/2013/04/news-events-trinity-transports-community-environment-day/

Best,
Matt
