Painter 7 O.K. with Cinema Display and OS X ?

According to the Corel notice referenced below, dated 8/24/2001, Painter 7
locks up with the Cinema Display. The "solution" is to lower the
resolution.

Is this still a problem? I want to buy a Cinema Display, but not if I have
to use it at 1280 by 800.

The notice doesn't say if this problem is for classic or OS X - I'm using OS
X.

I agree. That's a temporary fix, not a solution. I don't have a
CinDisp, or I'd tell you myself, but I'd say wait until Corel fixes that
one. Ouch.

I got a Cinema Display with OS 9 though and Painter 7 is fine (well, as fine
as can be)

The display works fine, beautifully in fact. . .the problem is that the
Wacom tablet doesn't. . .
