Hello Painters,

If I buy the Corel Painter 8 Upgrade version can I upgrade from Painter
5? If not, what version or competitive product do I need to upgrade to
this version?

According to the Corel website info, the following products qualify you
for upgrade pricing:

Corel Painter(all versions)

Corel Painter Classic(all versions)

Fractal Design Painter 4 and 5

MetaCreations Painter 5 and 6

Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and higher
