possible unified product at some point maybe possibly hmm???

What I'd really like to see is Painter, Paint Shop Pro, and Photo-Paint all
combined into one product. I know that the very concept is sacreligious,
but I have loved all those products at one time or another. They all were
just missing something. Combined, the new program would do it all (and
compete better with Photoshop). I don't know, call it Photo-Painter Pro or
even P-Cubed?

I think I'd like to see what many of you have been asking for:

a.. Thumbnails of saved files (for both Painter, Photo-Paint, and Paint
Shop program formats...Painter is lacking in this)
b.. Compatibility with all the documents created in the Corel Draw Suite
(as well as with Adobe products)
c.. Dockers (nothing worse than maximizing a window and the tools pallets
are now in the way of painting or scrolling, dockers are great to prevent
that. I wish Photshop had them too.)
d.. Natural Media Effects (why are the classics artists so great? They
don't perfectly recreate a subject, they create the feeling of seeing that
subject through the use of color, light, and movement. Digital art can
sometimes have a 'cheesy', cookie cutter look to it. Painter does a great
job of creating painterly effects...better than Photo-Paint or even Paint
Shop Pro).
e.. Real Photo/Color editing capabilities (Photo-Paint is really the best
for this out of the three)
f.. Easy to use / realistic brushes (Paint Shop Pro and Photo Paint are
really easy to use, but Painter still has better brushes)
I think what we all want is a powerful tool that provides both photo editing
capabilities as well as realistic, natural media capabilities in an
interface consistent with other Corel Products (and compatible with Adobe
products). Some of us are just hobbyists...others are professionals who
need a consistent and easy work flow. Regardless, we'd all like that one
program that just does it all!

Write Corel, and tell them what you think.
