Painter 8 trial available today?

The Corel Painter web site claims that the 30-day trial for Painter 8 will
be available April 21. I haven't seen anything emerge today. Does anyone
know whether the trial will be available today, or has it been delayed?

OK, I see that the web site has been updated to read "April 25". Oh,
well... just a few more days--unless it slips again. ;-)

April 25 ... sigh, I'm glad they posted that as it will save me from
checking the site all the time ;)

I called Corel Customer Support Services this morning to ask about the
Painter 8 trial version, said to be available on April
21st, and the Customer Support person explained that was a "misprint" in
one of the Mac magazines and also a mistake on the Painter 8 Product
Information page.
It seemed obvious, but I suggested that he make sure the page was
corrected, to avoid having a lot of angry Painter users. He thanked me
and said he'd look into having it corrected.
He said the Painter 8 trial version would be available, hopefully, by
the end of the month.
Patience is a virtue, and we get this lesson from Corel frequently! :D

I guess there will only be a Windows trial available, like often with
Corel products. Do you know something about that? Will there also be a
Mac trial?

Corel sent me an e-mail (i did not ask for it - it seems that there is
somebody at Corel who is reading this newsgroup) and told me that there
will a Windows and a Mac trial of Painter 8. Great!
