What's the difference between the newly-released $99 version of KnockOut 2.0
(Corel brand) and the much higher-priced (Procreate brand) version? The
specs appear to be identical.

The only difference I can see is that 2.0 is a plug-in for Photo Paint and
Photoshop.
Everything else seems to be the same as earlier versions.
Cheers,
Michael

Hi,

Seems like they are selling a few products for a very low price.
Knockout 2.0 has always been a plug in.

Bob:
You are most likely correct, but I vaguely remember that the earlier
versions could be used as stand-alone also?
Cheers,
Michael

Hi Michael,

Knockout1.5 stand alone and 2.0 Plug in. To date 2.0 has always been a
plug in.

Also 2.0 has more features and is an upgraded product from 2.0. I have
both of them.

Thanks Bob,
I have 2.0, but used the trial version of 1.5 a couple of years ago and am
glad to see that my memory hasn't failed me completely ;-)
Cheers,
Michael

Seems to be just the same. I ordered KO 2 for 69 Euros; the registration
card still shows the "procreate" signet, that's the proof!

KO2 works great, although you still have to work on your pictures. I could
imagine that a PS-pro wouldn't need this tool.

Regards
Benjamin
