Knockout 2 - What am I doing wrong ?

I'm using XP Pro / Photo-Paint11 / Knockout 2.0.
I open one of sample pics from Knockout in Photo-Paint.(ie sunflower)
In Photo-Paint I select .... Effects....Knockout...Load Working Layer...
When I do so I get the following error....
"File is wrong format. Possibly missing layers."
I've loaded on 2 different PC's with same results...
What am I doing wrong?

I figured it out...Duh!
Must create new objetc from backgroound in Photo-Paint.
