Revision 46 fixes (or tries to) the need for '-no-correct-pts' in
mplayer. I have only implemented it using the new dshowserver mode
though. This change was a lot more complicated than expected.
If you use the new dshowserver (r46 or newer) you must have a matching
mythtv/mplayer patch (and vice-versa)

I will be updating the mythtv patch soon, and that will improve
performance a little, and give better A/V sync.

have you any plans to implement the new corrected patches for xine ?
It seems to me the xine is more popular in our group, than MPlayer and MyThTV :)

Yes. I have 2 'significant' tasks left:
Get coreavc working on the Mac, and get xine working with the
dshowserver (not necessarily in that order).
Because xine uses a significantly different win32 loader base,
maintaining the patches for xine is hard. So I don't plan to officially
support using coreavc in xine except via the dshowserver. Now that I
have proven that the dshowserver has no performance penalty (the main
reason I implemented it in mplayer was to be able to compare the 2
methods) I feel more comfortable going forward that way.

xine support would be especially interesting for xine powered DVB
applications, like kaffeine with which at the moment it is almost
impossible to watch any "live" h264 HD content..
So i hope you can find a way to get it working with xine too :)
