Join 2009 Coord Summer of Code !
There are three subprojects that you can contribute: data connector,
dust web UI, coord+lucene.
If you contribute your codes to one of them within the event period
(7/6~8/20), you will be able to obtain a given prize, i.e., the best
prize is a brand-new Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch.
The more detail refers to
http://dev.naver.com/wiki/coord/index.php/2009CoordEvent.
Since 2008, Coord has been drastically evolved from a distributed key-
value store to a complete software stack for distributed computing as
follows:
- coord: a distributed key-value store
- mapred: a c++-based mapreduce framework
- dust: a distributed file management tool
- warp: a remote/parallel execution tool
I am currently implementing and experimenting a variety of algorithms
for information analysis such as information retreival, data/text
mining, and machine learning with coord, mapred, dust and warp.
Join this project and participate in the discussions around the
development.
If you encounter a problem and have an idea how to fix it, please
leave your comment or advice here.
