Hello to Cooperative Maine supporters,

Cooperative Maine members will be doing some talks in the coming
months and beyond about the benefits of cooperatives. We have a power
point talk we can offer to any group.

IF YOUR GROUP OR ONE YOU KNOW OF WOULD LIKE SUCH A PRESENTATION,
PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.

Also, Cooperative Maine does not own a power point projector. We
could buy one, but if there are projectors available that we could
use on an occasional basis, we would love to cooperatively share the
resource (and possibly any maintenance costs).

IF YOU HAVE A PROJECTOR YOU COULD SHARE OR LEND ON AN OCCASIONAL
BASIS, PLEASE ALSO REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.

Thanks!

The Belfast Co-op would love to host a presentation. My preference would be in October during Co-op Month. We'll be highlighting the Howard Browers Fund as our 3rd Thurs Donation Day recipient (10/18). I'd book the community room at the Belfast Free Library, which has an overhead projector and the capacity to show PowerPoint presentations (plug in your own laptop or load the presentation onto theirs). I could provide space in our Sept-Oct newsletter for a related article, if that's of interest.

thank you! ~ kate  338-9509 (home office)

Local Sprouts or the Meg Perry Center would host a presentation.  The Meg Perry Center has a video projector that could be used for presentations at Local Sprouts or the Meg Perry Center.
We can do it whenever.  On May Day, I hosted a Starting a Worker Cooperative Workshop and had close to 20 people attend.  I can offer this workshop in other communities too.

Thanks,

Jonah

maybe soone after the July 7th event in Portland (which Local Sprouts is vending at, yes?) so we could all publicize it there (esp. since Cabot made these Ask Me About Co-ops buttons at our suggestion!)

Larry,

I work for a watershed association in Jefferson and we have a projector that hooks up to a laptop that is not used much.  Wouldn't be able to bring it anywhere but if anyone wanted to pick it up...

If we think like 50 people may attend and the Meg Perry Center is too small we may be able to use CTN, and also could film the presentation.

Thanks, Rob. We may be very willing to do that at some point. Appreciate the offer.

Hope the work with the watershed assn. is going well. I assume you'll be around there for the summer, which should be a nice way to spend a summer!

Larry
