Hi Iain

Sometime, I'd be happy to speak on your podcast. If you browse around my more recent blog posts, you may spot a topic of interest.

My business focuses on training people—individuals and general staff—to write content for a digital workplace. Content strategy includes this crucial factor. If staff just don't get the message, the content doesn't work with their customers or technology.

By the way, I am in New Zealand, and I've been working in this field ever since I first saw a web page in 1994.

All the best

Rachel

There are many talented people in this group, many of whom I'm sure I'll be approaching over the coming weeks and months (look out for the email!).

Although, rather than wait for me to contact you, if there's something you'd like to share with others by appearing as a guest, please do contact me.

I'm looking to hear from anyone with interesting content projects and case studies, new theories and ideas. Feel free to pitch anything, even if you're not sure - I'd be happy to hear from you

And if you're less inclined to speak, I hope you enjoy listening instead.

Hi Rachel,

Thank you for replying. It really is great to hear from you.

It would be a pleasure to chat to you for the podcast. I see you do (amongst many things) web writing courses. Perhaps we can focus on a few of the basics, common mistakes and where people can go to improve their skills - without giving away too many secrets from your paid sessions of course!

If and when you're able, have a read of my guest information and fill in the form. This way I can email you direct  and we can arrange a time to talk and record.

I really look forward to speaking soon. Thank you again.

Hi Iain

I'd also be happy to do a podcast, but it might be a while before we can book a timeslot!

I’d be happy to participate in your podcast series.

Kristina Halvorson called me the “mother” of content strategy for my book, Managing Enterprise Content: A Unified content Strategy first published in 2002 with the second edition published 2012.

My major focus is structured content, adaptive content modeling, and reuse strategies across multiple devices and even print.

I look forward to talking with you further about the opportunity.

I'm in the office the next two weeks but they are pretty booked. I'm also in
the office the week of June 17 and most of July. What works best for you?

Thank you to everyone for the fantastic response. I've had some really great suggestions and offers - both here and directly via my website. I've replied to you all individually with details and contacts and look forward to speaking soon.

The invitation is still open to others if you'd like to take part. I'm probably booked up until July now, but if you'd like to talk then, do let me know as soon as possible so we can pencil a recording date in. Maybe best to message me via my website and I'll reply as soon as I can.

Thank you again. What a wonderful community of people we have here!

Iain
