As a consultant within the SalesForce.com IT team, you will be responsible for the Program Management of Finance Program. In that role, you will work closely with the IT-Finance teams, GBO Executive Team, and IT Leadership and to manage Finance projects from initiation through delivery, including planning and budgeting, project control and status reporting, team management, and related troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure completion of assigned project on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities:
o Initiates projects by leading alignment on scope, release planning, detailed project plans, timelines, aligning teams on project goals, create project structure, budget, securing cross-functional support for all IT project components, driving the change across the organization
o Manages delivery and communications to business expectations, delivery to schedule and budget management. Develops strong partnerships with IT Leadership and Business Partners to drive focus on delivery
o Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering on project goals. Define mitigation strategy and plans as needed
o Provide status reporting and ensure transparent and visible communications between IT and business units. Provides regular program reviews and update
Required Skills/Experience:
o BS in Computer Science or other technical field / graduate degree preferred, minimum of 2 years of technical work experience;
o 3+ year of hands of project management, IT experience, including SW development, Finance initiatives;
o Demonstrated progression to roles of increased responsibility
o Project Management experience leading Agile and Waterfall SW development project required
o Ability to learn quickly and excel in fast paced dynamic environment.
o Outstanding leadership and communications skills absolutely required;
o Highly structure and organized; excellent project management competencies is a must
o Experience with Salesforce.com products and platform is a strong plus.
o PMI or other related project management certification
