• Hands-on experience in the mechanical design validation test of various networking platforms

• Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis with analytical thought process and visual inspection

• Ability to diagnose problems and communicate failures to development team.

• Multi-tasking skills to handle testing of multiple platforms all at the same time

• Program Management, Cross functional reporting, Organizational, teamwork, collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good mechanical aptitude. Can use hand tools and power tools to build/modify prototype.

• Good knowledge and understanding of Mechanical and Environmental stress testing methods (Mechanical Shock and Vibration, Altitude, Drop, Tipover, Humidity, Fit, Thermal, Airflow, Acoustic, HALT), test tools (environmental chambers, CMM machine, Network Traffic Generator IXIA, SmartBits etc.) and industrial standards

• Working knowledge of mechanical fabrication and assembly processes

• Familiar with router/switch configurations, networking concepts TCP/IP, L2/L3 switching, coca Certification is a plus.

• Knowledge of NEBS, ETSI, MIL, standards is plus
