As I keep my printer in the garage it tends to get pretty cold in the winter, also drafty which has been starting to effect long running print jobs.
I decided to use one of those rack mount shelving kits from bunnings to house it, because they are really solid. They also have mesh shelves which allow light to pass through, and also you can see whats stored up high from below without having to climb.
The printer is also sitting on an anti-vibration pad designed for washing machines. And yesterday I purchased 4 meters of clear table cloth vinyl plastic (3mm) to use to make a kind of tent designed to keep the heat in and dust out.

This is big enough that all the equipment can sit inside as well as have a curtain rod with a few colours suspended.
I also have all my other spools and stuff stacked up above.
I believe a setup like this would be really good for the hacker space and thought I would share as it would make good use of the space provided.
