I am sorry to John and anyone else who was been fixing the 3D printers. I think I broke them again.

The Frankenbot is not extruding when I printed on it last. It makes a sort of clicking noise when it tries to extrude. I think I tired to print when the head was about 5 degrees below temp.

With the other printer I was printer and near the end it stopped extruding. This time I am not sure what happened. It just stopped extruding half way through.

Again sorry.
I am not going to use them again.

@Adric, the mendel probably needed the fillament tensioner adjusted.
and the frankencake may have been already broken as I didn't get to try it on monday night
so dont worry. and dont give up on using them.
I am going to get some motors with metal geaboxes and replace them but they will take a couple of weeks to get here.

I am going to leave my personal frankencake at the space until I have the others working.

John

I'll set a laptop up with the settings file for your frankencake. I've
still got it somewhere :)

I have a Prusa that I can lend to the space if helpful. Let me know

I think there may be ways in which the firmware could be moded that could help protect the machines maybe a couple extra falesafes
