As I just joined CCHS I thought it would be a good idea to say a few words for people who don't know me
I'm currently facilitating the Raspberry Jam group that meets at the Hackspace on the 1st Sat of Month (we also meet at RMIT on about 3rd Thus).
I've been working in software for about thirty years now, although my software dev skills are pretty average and my hardware skills are very poor (a lot of my professional life has been spent as an implementation consultant and project manager). As a hacker I just really be described as bit of a dabbler.
My interest in the Pi is as an educational tool and as cheap flexible computer platform for for small personal projects. So far I've written some teaching material and I'm a member of Computing At Schools (UK based), although I don't think I will do much more of that.
There is lots of other info about me on the net, if you are bored see
