Hi,
I require public keys for logging in to my server. When I had
ConnectBot generate keys, and added the public key to
authorized_keys2, I could not log in. Running sshd in debug mode, the
server was not finding a matching key.
I tried using ssh-keygen, adding the public key to know_hosts2, and
importing the private key into ConnectBot. I can now log in, but
ConnectBot is not reporting the key size, or allowing me to change the
password on it.
The public key that ConnectBot generated seems to be in the same
format as the key that ssh-keygen created. Both are 2048 bit rsa.
Any ideas what the difference would be, or how I can get ConnectBot to
better recognize the ssh-keygen created key (allowing me to change
password most importantly).
Thanks.
