Description: Direct entire reinsurance accounting and reporting operation for large carrier.
Shall:
*** Manage the General Ledger interface with U/W systems.
*** Develop and maintain accounting and reporting requirements for reinsurance treaties.
*** Coordinate with Business Services to ensure data availability, accuracy and timeliness.
*** Review and maintain contracts.
*** Oversee systems engaging third party vendors processing reinsurance invoices and claims to ensure appropriate processing.
*** Work with actuaries as it relates to valuation reserves and allowances compliant with GAAP, management and statutory reporting.
