Description:
-Design, implement, prepare and improve electrical drawings for commercial, institutional, government, healthcare, and industrial buildings per latest codes and regulation (NEC, NFPA, IBC, OSHPD, etc)
-Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment
-Supervise and train project team members as necessary
-Maintain client relationships and be involved with the marketing, design and production meetings with regard to electrical systems
-Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
-Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at the project site in conjunction with Project Manager, Project Architect and other disciplines
-Prepare technical and financial proposals for new works and track the financial aspects of the projects, and coordinate and adjust the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the parameters of the agreed to schedule and budget
-Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment
Requirements:
-PE License in Electrical Engineering
-Seven (7) to fifteen (15) years of professional experience as an Electrical Engineer with an MEP consulting or A&E firm.
-BS Degree in Electrical Engineer
-Strong technical skills (AutoCAD, Revit, etc)
