I would like to be able to use the "Journal" functionality of my MS
Office Outlook. The problem is that I don't know how to turn it on. I
want to be able to view the Word and Excel Files that I have accessed/
revised yesterday, the day before, etc.

First off (for those who don't know about the journaling function) a

lastly, to answer your question:
You need to go to Options, Journal Options and make the appropriate
selections.
