Hi everyone, I've just joined this group. I have a question. This pop
up keeps popping up saying trojan pack. On the bottom of the box it
says "Action taken: Deleted." does this mean that the trojan was
deleted?

Also sometimes it says: Action taken: Reboot required. Does this mean
for safety restart my laptop. I get it maybe three times a week this
pop up. What should I do? Can I simply clear the virus?

Also, let's say I want to restore my whole system to default last year
memory, will it delete the virus too or no?

ACTION TAKEN: DELETED - this means EXACTLY what it says!
ACTION TAKEN: Reboot Required - this means EXACTLY what it
says! You MUST reboot in order for the virus/trojan/malware/etc
can be fixed. AND, if you do not do this then that is almost
certainly WHY it keeps coming back on you. And because this
is not done and you keep getting the other pop-up this, to me,
indicates that the particular virus/malware/trojan/whatever is of
the self-replicating/duplicating/spawning type.
Of course, this is presuming you are not continually going to
bad sites and bringing it back with you.

Adding to KwikOne's post, I would presume that if Norton keeps saying
that it has removed a trojan that there is a program (most likely)
that is creating them. Even though you can restore your computer to a
previous date it might not fix the issue at hand. I always recommend
to restore your computer to a factory state, backup your files before
hand, pictures, movies, music, etc. Once you restore your computer to
the factory default state it should run much better and "smoother"

Only a recommendation though...

If I were you, certainly I would not forget a safe mode scan, run
windows in safe mode' hit F8 before windows splash screen' and run a
virus scan as well as a malware scan'spybot s&d or ad-aware'
hope you post back tell us what happen

In safe mode, from the Start menu, all programs, locate and open the
antivirus program you have, while if you dont have one, this would be
another story since the message (pop-up window) would be fake and
could be a malware issue.
Anyways, download one of the antiviruses available or purchase one, I
would recommend you use Avira Antivirus, since it is good and free(for
home users) after you install it, the program will require an update
and then will start to scan your computer by itself.
Now after it completes, download and install Spybot S&D, continue with
the on-screen information.
If they both installs correctly, and did their job successfully, you
will have no problem on the computer.

Please note, if you have an antivirus program already, dont install
two antiviruses program at the same time, it could get to malfunction
and delay in response..how to know ??? in the (task bar??), near the
clock, what programs are running ? if you already have decent good
one, then use it(double click and take full system scan) or uninstall
it, from the Add/Remove Programs in the control panel and install a
new one.
