Ok, version 1.0.0 has just been pushed to rubyforge and will be
available after that whole gem propagation delay stuff.
I'd like to name this release the "we're running out of 0.9.x numbers,
so it has to go to 1.0 sooner or later" release. Oh yeah and it's also
Rails 2.1 compatible (but not backwards compatible). Let us know of
any problems.
Nic, I still can't update the website, so it's showing version 0.9.92.
I'm getting a permission denied on the rsync. I'll see if

Weird - http://skitch.com/drnic/pbit/cpk-admins shows that you are an admin. Have you run "rubyforge config" to refresh any local settings? Or can you not even upload the files manually?--

Also, if you're no longer pushing commits back to the rubyforge svn repo, put in another support request to have the svn repo removed and changed to a git repo.

I have permission now, there was a button on the rubyforge admin page
to reset the virtual host permissions to be group-writeable.

It hasn't been lost, it just takes longer when patches don't have

don't know if there's anything official, but here's a start...
(assuming mysql, substitute with your db of choice)
rake local:setup
modify database config at local/database_connections.rb
rake mysql:build_databases
rake test_mysql
