Plans for server side components?

I recently read TJ's post on components and became very intrigued. It looks like a great way to separate code into logical bite sized pieces.

At the moment it looks like the components are all intended for the client-side. I was wondering if there were any plans to make server-side components too? I would love to see a library of components I can use with Express. For example a sign up page that also handles the POST requests and creates a user in the database.

yup I'll have some of those too. Most stuff isn't really generic enough but either way even if they're just private app-specific server components it's still a much nicer way to work.
