Dear All

I am giving a rerun of the presentation of my book on the production
and interpretation of NL (now approaching
completion) I recently did in Goettingen this Thursday and Friday from
12-15 provisionally in the ILLC meeting room. Since I am still looking
for reactions and comments, it would be great if you could come. My
apologies for the extremely late announcement which was unavoidable.

Given the limited capacity of the room, it would be practical if you
could mail me if you will attend so that it may be possible to find a
bigger room.

12-1 introduction: parity, the 2 grammar model, against grammar as a relation
1-2 production in interpretation
2-3 a linear generation algorithm

Friday
12-1 self-monitoring in production
1-2 the interpretation algorithm 
2-3 why the algorithm is semantics and pragmatics
