1. I'm private person and represent myself only.

2. I don't understand the term "emergent economy". I can't
imagine a society without economy in which once it (economy) starts
emerging. Show me healthy econmy.

3. My project name is KnowledgePerson.com, framework name:
Collaborative self-consulting. Therefore if to say about control,
it's about personal control over personal life/business.

Thomas Power (Chairman of Ecademy) wrote:

"We are yet to see however how such a self employed network will
operate. By 2010 forecasters believe 50% of the US economy will be self
employed. Only after then will we begin to see the rise of the self
employed network (SEN). Europe is 10 years behind America because of
socialism".

Having more self-controlled/sufficient persons is good for any economy,
I think. In my understanding bankers control people selling them loans.

4. The market, especially in the web, is open. People will decide what
methods to buy - complex, complicated, simple, simplistic, etc.

5. I prefer approaches that work for my life - primitive green food
(instead of junk food), clean water (instead Coke), fresh air (instead
city smog), daily running. Everyone has an option.

6. I don't like or dislike definitions themselves. Lifetime is
limited and normal definitions are good both for sellers and customers
to save their lifetime. When I buy new cell phone I read its technical
definition first (a few lines of text), then I decide to buy or ask the
seller, or can go and read more about the fundamentals of bluetuth, if
I need it (but I don't need these fundamentals to operate the phone
- name me the primitive customer).

7. Wed, Sep 13 2006 10:22 am I said: "As you can see the 2nd meaning
of the word "complex" is equivalent to "complicated", though some
people can have additional meanings". I don't see these additional
meanings and didn't ask the definition of "simplistic". I gave a
starting point with the use of the Collins dictionary. The topic was
substituted.

8. I didn't put people into boxes. If you're in organization - ask
yourself a primitive question WHAT your organization really do. It's
good, if you know or can quickly find the answer, or people who know.
Some time ago I did a work and it took me a few months for finding
answers to these primitive questions. But additional problem was - what
I needed to know and how organize the info I need (the framework). The
problem was: indicators "indicated" 98% of value, but direct
measurement indicated 65% of value. So I was asked - go and find the
truth, then suggest what to do. I did it.

9. Don't say about my original intent before asking me. I started
"Complexity or simplicity?" because sometimes I think - these terms
are being mixed up with "generalization" and "working out in
detail", which probably more constructive, though, as I said, I tried
to clarify "complexity" and "simplicity" by asking additional
meanings.

Suggestion: I can give a free framework license to this group to
structure Complexity Science and monitor what, who, etc. do, to connect
people, content, money invested, to understand a curve of development
and so on - to see Complexity Science as is, first of all.

Conditions are primitive: this work must be open for everyone and has a
link to KnowledgePerson.com - sorry, promotion again (smile).

The spreadsheets can be a technological platform. Please read "The

David, I possibly need to clarify - I mentioned not Russian but Soviet
programs of the eighties. I'll read about VNA.

Re point 2:  Until you bother to read something about complex systems (and you have references) you will continue to be confused about terms such as "emergent economy".  As I have said several times you need some understanding of a field about which you obviously know nothing.  You have the recommendations of texts and references.

Please note the title of this google group is "complexity-science"  not "words as defined in my Collins Dictionary"

Another dictionary definition for you:

incorrigible

  • adjective not able to be corrected or reformed.

  — DERIVATIVES incorrigibility noun incorrigibly adverb.

  — ORIGIN Latin incorrigibilis, from in- ‘not’ + corrigibilis ‘correctable’.

Nikolay,
I understood the distinction between the use of Russian and Soviet.

The Algeria experience in the early to mid '80's related to Soviet
national / regional planning approaches (we were not directly involved
with this).

The reference to the use of VNA (within a VNA google group) is in the
context of potential assistance with current Russian policy making and
programme development etc.

David,

In the case you mentioned those who seek assistance might contact you
and consider VNA.
