SCSS?

There has been some talk about SCSS.  Can someone explain what this syntax is and how it will help SASS/Compass?

I tried to google it and came up with nex3's twitter page.  There wasn't much information on the questions above so I am asking the mailing list.

Once it gets better formulated, I'll write a blog post about this. For now: SCSS is a CSS-style syntax for Sass. It will have the same power and semantics as Sass, but the syntax won't be whitespace-sensitive; instead, it will be a superset of CSS, or as close as we can come. It's currently in heavy development at http://github.com/nex3/haml/commits/scss . It should work well enough that it can be used from the command line or via the Rails plugin, although not all the features are there yet.

I've tested that scss works against compass v0.10.0.pre4

This will def. help to move Compass into more mainstream use
