Hi,
why does gwenview 2.1.3 (KDE 3.5.) copy small jpg, png, bmp, ...
(about 200 kBytes) with a extrem long duration about 10 seconds? A KDE/
gwenview window appears and shows a copy-job and is counting seconds!
There is no copying needet, any picture rests on the Linux host,
Xming/XDMCP only shows linux X-Windows. Is gwenview a little bit
confused? I don't find configuration options to prevent copying.

Who can help?

Only gwenview is "copying", other picture viewer like kuickshow do not!
(But kuickshow rests black with all pictures, so not usable using
Xming/XDMCP)

sorry, not only gwenview is "copying" files, kview also! Using kview no
copy window appears but it lasts about 10 seconds to show a small
200kByte picture. It seems to be a feature of KDE 3.5 , KDE gets
confused. Who can help?

Other WinXP machines with cygwin who make XDMCP (not with Xming) work
fine, no "copying" .

Other KDE bevore 3.5 did not behave so.

please help.

thx
Eckard
