Subject: Customizing system default KDE3 session?
howdy

I'm trying to figure out how to customize the default session that a new
new user is given the first time he logs in.

Are there any docs about that cover this?  I'm using Mandrake 8.2 with the
corresponding RPM's from kde.org.

As far as I can tell, there's no (for example) kickerrc file under /opt/kde3
that gets copied into the new user's .kde/share/config directory, which
gives me the impression it's done dynamically in a binary somewhere.

But that doesn't explain how different distros have different default
configs.

What am I missing?
