I am trying to set up my Kmail installation to use GPG to sign my messages
and the like. I know that I have done this before, but I am getting what
seems to be a common problem where GPG seems to have trouble with the
password. For one thing, I am never even prompted for a password. I have
seen some various forum posts and the like about fixing this, but none of
them actually detail what the real problem is, so that I can figure out what
solution I want to use. I have heard some things about gpg-agent and the
like, but I was hoping that someone could explain exactly what is the
problem with Kmail not asking for a password and the like? What do I need to
have setup appropriately in order to use Kmail with GPG?
I am using Kmail 4.9.3 on Slackware64 14.0.
