I have a XENIX 386 v2.3.4 system where the N2 & n3 disks are release 2.3.4q and the boot disk (N1) does not match. I am having problems getting my OS to recognize a tape drive I have a machine with the following: SCO XENIX 2.3.4 Adaptec 1542CP SCSI controller with Plug and play, FDD disabled; base address is 330. I'm looking for a copy of Xenix 2.3.2. We have a customer with data on a Xenix 2.3.2 box but they are located in California and we are in Florida. I have an image of their machine on a QIC-80 tape, but need a bootable system running Xenix to take a look at it. Any help would be appreciated! -pete

Moving files to NT

I have a client who is migrating from Xenix to NT. He needs to transfer a number of large files from the Xenix machine to the NT server. Does anyone know of a way to do this, other than by using floppies? Is there any "lap-link" type software that could accomplish this? I am open to most any ideas, so all would be appreciated.... more »
