Unixware 7.1 telnet error 
  From a friend. Quote I'm on UnixWare7 7.1.0. Everytime I telnet to the server, either from the host itself or from a Microsoft W2k client, I get logged in with the welcome banner but the server kicks me right out with the message: "telnetd: set_id() failed: Operation not applicable." Updating the SCSI HBA drivers 
  Hi I have recently changed SCSI host adaptors on my UnixWare 7.11 system and the system no longer boots (system is halted). Obviously this is because the embedded kernel driver for my old SCSI card isn't compatible with the new Adaptec 29160N Ultra160 SCSI card I now have. Integrate OSes into Windows NT and 2000

Unixware 7.1 ... can't get modem properties to 'stick' 
  When ever the customer tries to implement changes that I want them to put in for the modem, serial manager, etc we get an error about 'ttyadm fig kill' (?? customer was not real specific about it) .. but anyways .. can't get on to look at it because .. well obviously .. its the modem ... any ideas Jay... more »

Slow file closing on SCO UNIXWARE 
  I have a client that has a SCO Unixware system ... they seem to have a problem when opening a large database for data searches .. the file is opened quickly but when the user wants to exit this lookup .. it takes 2, 3, 4 or 5 minutes .. sometimes even longer to close the file .. I have had them report that it takes 15-20minutes at times .. any ideas ??... more »

scohelphttp and nsfast 
  Both of the above are supposed to start when UnixWare boots. However, in our case, it is spotty at best. Sometimes the scohelp will start, but port 80 won't and vice versa. Does anyone know exactly how these two programs are supposed to run so that they start every time automatically when the server... more »
