I'm using the radeon driver with a PCI ATI Radeon 7500 card.
Unfortunately the system does not seem to be able to recognize the card
and defaults to the vga driver. Previously I had posted about resolution
which I actually had already gotten configured with an S3trio card, but
I'd like to take advantage of the DVI output on the radeon.

How old or new is the ATI Radeon card?
If you purchase this new it will not work outside of base VGA mode - this is
because the NEW ATI Radeon 7500 cards are using the mobility chip - a
completely different card to the original ATI Radeon 7500 chip
We have the right cards by the way
