openwin filemgr. quitting under 2.1

Hi all,
I am running sun3 's as X-terms under solaris 2.1 with
X11R5.- The openwindows file-manager quits under X-sun whenever
anyone tries to "drag & drop" a file.
The filemgr is o.k. under Xnews
Any suggestions ? Thanks &
