Im my job we are using Veritas NetBackup with a
Sun Robot to backup all system files. My question:
Where can I get tutorials, free manuals, etc. about
Veritas NetBackup ?
Thanks in advance...

The manuals which come with the product aren't too bad. Is it something in
particular about the product that you want to know?

All the manuals are located on the Netbackup cd's. They are in PDF form. I
find the Datacenter, Media Manager and troubleshooting guides to be the most
usefull.
good luck,
Aaron

Veritas has virtually all of the manuals online.

Go to 'support.veritas.com', click on 'support downloads', go to your
netbackup product, and select "Doc" for the filetype and any other
restrictions you want. PDFs galore.

There's a mailing list for users. You can browse the archives and sign
up at http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/mailman/listinfo/veritas-bu/

The manuals usually come with the media. Your Veritas representative should
be able to get you another set. They are normally very helpful. The
manuals are good considering the amount of material to cover. If anything
there is a little too much information, I needed to go through them a couple
of times to indentify the parts that were NOT being used in my situation.
Basically Veritas is the source for what you are looking for. If you are a
big enough client, you can get some breaks on training courses.

All of the documents can also be downloaded from the Veritas website.
