Hello

I just got lookinglass 3d desktop up and running on a
athlon64 3800+ ( 2.4 Ghz ) 1 GB Ram (2 * 512 MB 2-3-3-6 memory)
Nvidia Geforce 6800 128 MB RAM , Motherboard is MSI K8T Neo2 FIR
So the hardware is almost "current "

Solaris is snv-21 and Nvidia driver rev 7676

while doing nothing the lg3d desktop loads the CPU 100%

Xorg 77%
Java 22%
Others 1%

Load avarage from prstat(1) is 1.54 1.58 1.37

It really looks like I am going to need a dualcore CPU :-)

Is this normal ?

Does "doing nothing" include a screensaver or something similar?

No , just the lg3d desktop , there is some little icon with a moon
whirling around
a little earth. Thats all the wisual activity I can see apart from the
lg3d desktop
itself that ofcourse moves a littlebit continuously.
