nothing comes out when i use vxprint -ht, not even column headers,
only vxprint -H works. what could be wrong?
notes: VRTSvxvm v5.1 on solaris 10.

If you have no volumes, vxprint -ht will show nothing at all.

VXPRINT will show you the output only if there are active disk groups on that server.
Try to run vxdg list & vxdisk list to check if any DISK,Groups listed.
If you have servers in active-passive mode than run vxprint -p on active server only.

you can run
vxdisk -o alldgs list
to see what's on any attached disks that are not currently mounted as well.
we use this command on media servers to locate DGs that are not currently imported.
