Western Digital's old Sharespace NAS product supports NFSv3
and has a web interface for management of its embedded Linux.
Unclear whether that functionality exists in the My Book Live.

Assuming the My Book Live is just Linux+Samba, you should be able
to mount smbfs(7FS) with Solaris 11 or smbclient(1) on Solaris 10.
