I have followed the steps mention on A.P. Lawrence's site:
ipnat -F
ipnat -C
ipnat -f - << EOF
map net0 192.168.200.0/24 -> 24.192.96.105/21
EOF

I have set up the other machines to use the OSR505 machine as the gateway,
but so far nothing is going out. DNS has been set to the appropriate
settings for the connection.

I noticed that the line in the "howto" used /32 for the remote connection
IP, does that give a global broadcast or was it due to the dialup connection
mask.

The IP address for the connection is 24.192.95.105 with a mask of
255.255.248.0.

Any ideas?

Use the more general example from the ipf.howto file, not Tony's site:

map net0 192.168.200.0.24 -> 0.0.0.0/32

EEEE: make that

map net0 192.168.200.0/24 -> 0.0.0.0/32

I have got it going, I used a similar line to what you have type, but using
the net0 IP with /32. Very quick compared to Linux with host to ip
resolution. Downloaded a 10MB file and it took only a minute as apposed to
a minute and a half.

All I need to do now is find a login client that will listen to the
heartbeats.

If it's Road Runner I highly recommend Phil Karn's rrlogin. I was using the
earliest versions of it weeks after road runner rolled out in my area a
couple years ago and it worked great even then. (they finally did away with
the idiotic thing in our area so I haven't used it in a while) hmmm... It'd
be cool if it compiles on open server... it compiled on bsd/linux back then,
and it might have compiled on solaris too since I knew a guy who kept a
solaris box on his cable modem.
