Following up on my own post as nobody has responded...

I did a fair amount of testing on this, and could not get this
working as SCO couldn't see the hard drive in the 'ide' mode
(which appears to be treated not as ide, but as SATA).

I looked at the CentOS/Red Hat SRPM for kvm, and there are
extensive patches to remove SCSI HD support which is what I have
been using with VMware Server. IHMO, this is not a good idea as
most older *ix systems supported SCSI going back to the Tandy
4000 Xenix circa 1987, while SATA support in Linux was spotty and
inconsistent as recently as SuSE 9.0 Pro and I don't know when it
became available under OpenServer.

I did successfully get 5.0.6a VMs to run under VMware Workstation,
but it did require running 'netconfig' to remove and reinstall
the network interface as it appears that the PCI configuration
changes enough so the old configuration doesn't work.

I have 5.0.7 running in qemu-kvm under Fedora 18 alpha/beta test 64 bit
Linux.
