Which can be a 'good thang' I suppose.
Hi Bob,
Still a great place to see old faces and get a problem resolved.
Since you've been away for awhile, whats been your experience
on OS's in the marketplace? ... especially SCO. Have some of the
new capabilities and cool features of SCO had an impact in your
world?

I am wondering if your toungue is poking out your cheek as you say "new
capabilities and cool features of SCO". I must confess I've been busy
with the new capabilities and cool features of Linux.

But I have never found a Linux-based equivalent group of personalities
with the expertise and professional generosity as is concentrated in
this particular news group.
Bob,
This is the SCO forum :-)
I too have a full plate when it comes to Linux... but since you've been
away for awhile I thought I'd see whats going on outside the SCO confounds
from someone that does not have a history of bashing SCO. I also wonder
what the odds are of someone like yourself being aware of whats happening
in the SCO market to see how marketing penitration is working with some
of the new "stuff" SCO is focusing on. Just curious.

By some astonishing coincidence there's a spiffy new sysadmin phone paging
system which SCO announced this very day:

I'm sure it's exactly what millions want for Christmas, Tickle Me Elmo XML
Droid or whatever be damned. It will make Darl and Ralphie brazillions, on
top of their massive IBM windfall. Win/Win for everybody, no?

I have been miles from this newsgroup for a long time, and I know your
sarcasm tag was on, but -- did I miss news of a settlement between IBM
and SCO that made Darl a windfall? Or is that just "future expection",
still?
