how do you set the same IP to different directions in the /etc/hosts. p ex. 127.0.0.1 direction1 and 127.0.0.1 direction2 . Always overlap in Windows 7

It always overlap in Windows 7 to the first direction.

I'm not sure what you mean by "directions", but if you want multiple
names for the same IP, you just list them all on the same line:

127.0.0.1 direction1 direction2
