Hi,,
Is there a linux command to find the maximum memory usage of a given
job?
The "time" command should do it, except that it returns 0 .
There is top and ps. But how I pipe the output of my processes to
these commands?
(plus once the command is over, they report 0)
In other words I want something equivalent to
"time [jobname]" to get the maximum memory usage.
Is there a simple way in unix to do this?
Thanks very much
