Hello, we can't get FreeBSD 7.x installations running on older Proliant Servers (DL380 G3). We install via iLo. The same scenario works perfectly with FreeBSD 6.4. booting off gmirror volume

I have the root partition gmirrored on four slices and gmirror reports that they are healthy and happy. But if I try to boot off two of them (ad2s1 or ad4s1), the boot loader reports that they are not ufs and gives up. I can boot off the other two (ad6s1 and ad8s1) with no problem. Hello! I have moved my data from ufs_partition (ad0s2x) to a separate dos_slices(x=1:ad0s7, x=2:ad0s8). Now I have one ufs_partition left (ad0s2a mounted "/") and some free space after old data. Weird observation... When I'm transferring files to and from my 7.2 box, it goes faster when I simultaneously transfer files instead of sequentially. Hi, I am using the linux-f8 ports on FreeBSD 7.2-stable (mainly to get linux-flashpugin to work). However linux-f8-pango have an oper security issue (and have ahd for some time now).
