Hello

I've added new disk to my system (freebsd 7.1)
How can i launch sysinstall disk label editor but not from sysinstall ?
(when i launch it from sysinstall and create partitions sysinstall also do
some chroot and others operations preparing to install new system.
The effect is that my current apache daemons stops working because of
uncorrect privs inside chroot.
I just want to create partitions to add new disk to mirror).

Bare bsdlabel is too difficult for me to use:(
(i do not know exact numbers which should be there and i need to be
precise because of geom mirrors)

Thanx

1 You launch sysinstall, then you choose "index": it's a list of all
functions of sysinstall.
2 In the list, you select fdisk to format the new disk. You commit with
"w"
3 You quit and relaunch sysinstall (very important)
4 You go back to "index", then choose disklabel
5 Edit yor label and commit with "w"
6 Quit sysinstall, you're done.

One correction. QWhen using sysinatll w there is one golden rule

Thou shalt only "w" once!

If you use w multiple times sysinstall eitgher fails to
change some or all of the cvhanges and generally gets cranky
and unreliable.

Do your changes in both fdisk and label editor, and the
press "w" when your done.
