Yes, I've seen that, along with the FAQ. They don't say what happens on
unsupported machines, thus my question.

I suspect you would probably lose video at some point... Most likely very
early in the installation process. A/UX interacts directly with the
hardware, so it reacts very badly to unsupported devices. Please, give it
a shot, and let us know what you encounter!

I'll try it under emulation first (Basilisk II under WinXP), see what happens
there. (The previously-mentioned machine is my only Mac right now; don't want
to completely bork it just yet.)
