I just acquired a Mac SE/30 and was hoping to tinker with A/UX on it.
If anyone knows of someone who's got a disk for sale... I imagine they
fetch a high price being a collectable and all.
Last I checked, even the German ftp site was no longer available. Maybe
someone mirrored it elsewhere though.

The CD images are kind of big (too big to email). Anyone have an active FTP?

I'd be pretty interested in getting my hands on those CD images too. I
can set up a temporary FTP username and password on my server so you
can upload them if it's not too much trouble?
If you do upload them, I'll just leave them there for anyone that
wants to get their hands on A/UX -- I've got plenty of bandwidth
sitting totally unused at the moment.
Cheers,
Mike

Something else just occurred to me: if anyone has any A/UX apps they'd
want to upload to the server, they'd be more than welcome to do so.
I've never really thought of it before, but A/UX software must be
increasingly difficult to come by, so creating an archive now might be
a good plan, lest it be lost forever.
Best,
Mike
The aux-penelope.com site has a nice archive, and I host stuff I've built
myself (as well as the FAQ) at christtrek.dyndns.org:8000/doc/aux.
Tim
The old site was geo.tu-freiberg.de - maybe googling that will turn up a mirror?
Tim
I forgot that site existed. I haven't done much investigation into A/
UX recently, so it slipped my mind.
Teo has kindly uploaded A/UX 3.0.1, the boot disk, and the updater.
You can find them at http://aux.koralatov.com/
I'll leave them up there indefinitely for anyone else who wants them.
Mike
Thanks Teo and Mike, I'll have to go check that out.
BTW: Does this look like a jagubox mirror?
It has the 3.1 to 3.11 update there so snag it!

That didn't last too long.
Unfortunately, I don't have a backup of them (I never got around to
downloading it, since I don't have a A/UX capable Mac).
Apologies to all; A/UX's tenure there was shorter than I had planned.
Best,
Mike
